“In two days I knew everything I needed to know to start my career as a Production Assistant. Amber makes learning easy and welcoming. We learned about the tools of the trade and the vital communication skills everyone needs. Even after the course she’s been giving of her time helping me continue in my film career.”
The class was structured very well and I'm very proud of Amber and grateful for the knowledge she is sharing. She tells us the truth about how grueling it can get, but also shares stories with us about how fulfilling it can be, especially as a creative. The community being built through "Beyond Film School" is absolutely beautiful. I know for sure, this is my path and where I want to be.
I felt very excited. I have a decent amount of experience in the industry, but still get imposter syndrome when it comes to being on a large film set, feeling like I am not qualified enough to be there. This training for me was exactly what I needed to feel confident enough to pursue jobs on large film sets.
